I feel great about peer reviews! As I expressed in seminar, the class give such great constructive criticism. I have yet to have any "ah ha" moments. I am too busy trying to make sure my paper is clear to my reader because I knew nothing about the collaboration between investigators and polygraphs. I find it interesting that polygraph are proven to be scientifically accurate for court.

Joanna, it's always good to have a fresh pair of eyes reading your paper. If you can you should ask as many of your friends to read your paper. Their suggestions can yield some great revisions. Take care and best of luck with your paper.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna, I don't have too many friends to ask to read my paper, so I mostly rely on other classmates. But the couple of friends i do ask, i'm sure could care less, but they still read my paper and send suggestions. And they don't do like the reading center and just put links. They tell me what to fix, because that is what i need. good luck on your paper!
ReplyDeleteYeah I will totally give my papers to anyone who will read them. I feel pretty good about the peer reviews too.
ReplyDeleteIt always helps to someone else put in their perspective on what they think needs to be done to improve. I really hate peer reviews, but it has always done me well in the end. Good luck to you on your paper; I know you will do good.
